It was a bright and sunny normal day in Republic City. Children were playing, spirits were chirping about, and everything was going along like normal. Well at least that's what everyone seemed to think. That is until so many people seemed to be appearing out of nowhere. For some reason Republic City seemed to be more lively and the crowds bigger.

The spirits have grown restless as if something important was about to change, and to try to fix that change, the spirits with their big long tree like limbs dragged people into the world left and right. Even the vines covering Republic City seemed to help. Although the spirits had the best intentions in mind, some people were more affected by the grab than others. There's talk that people in this city don't even know what this place is. People who have never heard of the words "bender" or "non-bender."

Welcome to Republic City! And to those who already live here: Happy Saturday. Please make yourselves at home and don't mind a little spirit gunk. It's mostly harmless. Go enjoy yourself a classic mover. Maybe you're the athletic type. If that's the case, come watch a few Pro-bending matches or form your own team. Just watch out for any Satomobiles. They can be deadly no matter how pretty the driver is.

Please remember to enjoy your stay and don't cause too much trouble. The Republic City Police don't need more riffraff to take care of. And don't stray too far. To make the the peace is kept, there's a huge spirit barrier around the perimeter of the city. It seems pretty strong, but it won't be able to last forever. Still, it's worrying. Radio signals and telegraphs don't seem to be getting past it.

Well, I guess you could say that. [ She giggles. ] But it did take a lot of practice! It was soooo worth it, though. I loved being a part of the circus, it was practically my calling! [ And would have been if it hadn't been for Azula. The circus was perfect for her, but Ty Lee easily went through the flow. She didn't know it yet, but it was only a few weeks time before she would have joined the Kiyoshi Warriors. But here she was bound to find another calling. ]

Ohhh, really? What was his name?

Oh-- I'm Ty Lee! It's really nice to meet you Jin!

The boy? His name is Lee. He was taller than me with short messy hair. He kind of had these like golden-y eyes. And well.. he didn't really have any hobbies, but he was really sweet.

[ She laughs and then sort of gets this embarrassed smile on her face. ]

W-wow listen to me jabber away ahahh.. You said your name is Ty Lee? That's such a cute name! it seems very fitting might I add!

Sounds like more than just a friend! I bet he was super cute. [ She didn't think much of it, it wasn't entirely uncommon for people to have golden eyes. ] Do you still talk to him? Is he around?

[ She looks around as if the cute boy with messy hair and golden eyes is going to materialize out of nowhere-- which, given the circumstances was very possible. ]

You think? I do like my name! I think my parents ran out of ancestors to name me out of when they got to me! [ Probably the only good thing about having a handful of older sisters. ] Jin is pretty cute too, though!

He was majorly cute! Him and his uncle ran a tea shop in Ba Sing Se that I loved to visit. They both kind of just up and left though and I never saw him again.

[ She frowned for a couple seconds before she pinched her own cheek. Now is not the time to be moping. Now is the time for friendship! ]

It sounds like you have a pretty big family! I bet that must get pretty noisy, huh?

It must be an uncle thing to really love tea! My best friend's uncle really likes tea too, who knew? [ She laughs. It's only natural for her to think it's a coincidence. ] That's too bad, though. I hope you get to see him again sometime!

Oh yeah, super big. I'm the seventh daughter, but I haven't seen my family since I left for the circus. [ It was Ty Lee's turn to frown. She had left for good reason and preferred not think about her family. But all this frowning was going to give her wrinkles, and she couldn't have that! So she's quick to shrug it off. ]

I bet you'll see them again. Family is important after all so there's no way they don't miss you too.

[ Ty Lee shrugs it off, she didn't really care to see her family. What she did care about is seeing her friends. ] Oh, yeah! That reminds me, last night I was with some of my best friends in the whole wide world! Do you think you've seen any of them?

[ She immediately launches in an explanation, just in case this girl had no idea what the royal family looked like. ] One is May, she's really grumpy all the time, has her hair up like this. [ For emphasis, she puts her hands in fists on the top of each side of her head. ]

And then there's Azula, she's super pretty and usually wears hair hair like this and kind of glares at everyone all the time. [ This time she pulls the sides of her hair forward and glares before giggling at her own impression. ]

Oh, and then there's Zuko! He's kind good looking, has scraggly hair and a scar on the side of his face. [ For this one she forgets which side the scar is on, looks at both her hands for a second before covering the completely wrong side. ]

[ She nods her head as she listens to the descriptions. They didn't really sound all too familiar to her though. Well This Zuko fellow did. Are there that many people with big scars over their eyes?

Stroking her chin now. ]

This Zuko characters sounds kind of like Lee actually. How weird! And the grumpy girl sounds like Lee's friend from the circus, but I don't know.

[ She frowns as she tries to think harder. ]

I don't think I've seen any of them, but you know what? I have a good eye for things so I can always keep a look out!

Wow, really!? What a coincidence-- Oh, though I don't think Zuko can juggle. [ He couldn't even do a hand stand for two seconds without falling, there's no way Zuko could juggle. ] Mai's definitely not from the circus either-- Oh, but she throws knives... [ Giggle. ] Well, maybe a little like the circus.

Really, you'd do that for me? [ She takes her hands in each of her own. ] I knew the second I saw you that you were a good person, Jin! [ And then she hugs her. ]

[ Jin giggled and happily hugged her back. She was right when she first saw Ty Lee and thought she was a really sweet and friendly girl. ]

Hey! What are friends for, right? Of course I have to help!

[ Hopefully Ty Lee doesn't mind the sudden declaration of friendship. ]

That's right, we are friends! [ Of course she doesn't mind. In fact, Ty Lee considered herself extremely lucky. It's not every day you show up in a strange new world and make almost an immediate friend. ]

So... what now?

That's a good question.

[ She stroked her chin for a moment before grabbing Ty Lee's hands excitedly. ]

I can't think of anything specifically, so lets find something to do instead!

Okay, maybe we can find something really fun to do together! You just lead the way!

[ And off they go onto a journey of excitement and probably a lot of boys surrounding ty lee to flirt with her.]
