Air Temple Island:

A. Aang starts off his morning with airbending training. Some meditation, some rounds through the air gates, some general practice of forms and some balancing upon pillars. He'll be glad to tutor anyone else in need of instruction. He is a master, after all, even if he's claiming not to be Avatar Aang. Just a random prodigy airbender who happens to be named Aang! At least, that's the cover story he's trying this week.

B. This young monk has commandeered the kitchen! His goal? To make some fruit pies! Feel free to stumble across him while he's in the act of baking them, while some doting air acolytes try to help out.

Republic City/Spirit Worlds

C. And so Aang makes his way through the city atop his sky bison, Appa, who has a large batch of the fruit pies kept on his back. Aang may stop to check in on any number of his friends if they're around, with personalized fruit pies for new friends and old.

D. Aang will also spend time down exploring the Spirit Wilds. He'll use the rest of his batch of fruit pies here, distributing them to those who need it. He'll also try to investigate the spirit vines and wandering spirits some more, puzzled about all of the odd things he's heard about so far.

E. Finally, he can be found near the barrier, meditating in an attempt to commune with the spirits. He better be careful with all those stray spirits wandering about...

[And now Korra sits back to watch, occasionally scanning the area around them in case there's anything to see.

Like a certain Avatar, for example.]

[And soon, his spirit is popping right out again! He looks right towards Korra and makes a "neener neener neener!" face.]

[Though it's only for a second, Aang's spirit is visible to her, and Korra makes a face right back.]

I saw that. [and then it hits her. She gasps.] I saw that! Aang, are you still here?

[He automatically makes a raspberry noise in response to her face, but it's only when she speaks that he realizes what it means.]

You did? [He speaks on, regardless of whether or not Korra can hear him.] I'm right here! I mean... I'm as here as I can be! The spirity kind of here, you know?

[This time, there's no reaction on Korra's end. Though she does continue to scan the area for him.]

Aang?

[It seems she can't see him anymore.]

[Huh. Aang looks on in confusion for a moment.]

You can't see me?

[He turns around and shakes his rear.]

How about now?

[Unfortunately--or fortunately??--Korra's turned her head back toward Aang's body, completely missing her past life's dignified little dance.

Not that she could see it anyway.]

Ooookay. You're still meditating, so that means you're still around in spirit form, I guess. I could see you for a second, but not anymore.

[Korra pouts a little, and then...maturely sticks her tongue out, in case Aang's watching.]

I hope you're not trying anything weird while you're all spirity and invisible.

[The spirit turns back around, a little flustered, and then he pouts and grumbles.]

You're the weird one...

[And then, he heads back into his body, popping back awake with a sheepish smile.]

Yep! Nothing weird going on here. Just normal... super serious and super spirity Avatar stuff!

Yeah...sure.

[That sure is convincing! Korra eyes him suspiciously for a second (she doesn't trust that sheepish smile at all), before moving back to the original topic.]

I definitely saw your spirit just now. It didn't last too long, though. Were you still around after that?

Yeah, I was! I... I was trying to make sure you were watching! [He's a portrait of innocence.]

[How suspicious. Lucky for Aang, Korra has something more important to talk about.]

Do you know what spirit projection is? Jinora might have mentioned something about it before.

Spirit projection? I'm not sure... I don't think she's mentioned it. But isn't that what you call sending your spirit to the spirit world? Or... [His eyes light up.] ...what just happened to me?!

I think...it's a mix of both. I'm not too sure about it myself.

[Korra folds her hands together and leans forward.]

Jinora can do this thing where she projects her spirit around--you can even see her when she's in spirit form, it's incredible. [Someone sounds super proud of her little sis.] What you did just now reminds me of that.

Really? [He smiles curiously, almost mimicking her pose.] She's so great. I- I wonder if she'd give me some pointers sometime.

Why don't you ask? I bet she'd be happy to help you out and spend more time with you.

[From what she can tell, Jinora and Bumi have both been so thrilled that Aang's around again.]

You think so? [He doesn't even doubt it really. His smile just grows fonder.] You're right. I don't want to interfere with how busy she can be, but... I know that we'd both love it.

[She reaches over and gives Aang's shoulder an affectionate nudge.]

I know so. Besides, we're all splitting the Air Temple duties between us. It could be worse.

[He chuckles.]

We are all doing our part... [He nods.] Alright, that settles it! Thanks, Korra. [He goes right into hugging her.]
