Air Temple Island:
A. Aang starts off his morning with airbending training. Some meditation, some rounds through the air gates, some general practice of forms and some balancing upon pillars. He'll be glad to tutor anyone else in need of instruction. He is a master, after all, even if he's claiming not to be Avatar Aang. Just a random prodigy airbender who happens to be named Aang! At least, that's the cover story he's trying this week.
B. This young monk has commandeered the kitchen! His goal? To make some fruit pies! Feel free to stumble across him while he's in the act of baking them, while some doting air acolytes try to help out.
Republic City/Spirit Worlds
C. And so Aang makes his way through the city atop his sky bison, Appa, who has a large batch of the fruit pies kept on his back. Aang may stop to check in on any number of his friends if they're around, with personalized fruit pies for new friends and old.
D. Aang will also spend time down exploring the Spirit Wilds. He'll use the rest of his batch of fruit pies here, distributing them to those who need it. He'll also try to investigate the spirit vines and wandering spirits some more, puzzled about all of the odd things he's heard about so far.
E. Finally, he can be found near the barrier, meditating in an attempt to commune with the spirits. He better be careful with all those stray spirits wandering about...

Korra decides to check out the barrier again, hoping to stumble upon something that might help, but she finds her previous life instead. After a brief debate with herself, she joins him, pressing her hands together as she sits in her usual meditative position.]

His face, so youthful compared to the one she’s seen in visions, is all relaxed when he’s like this, and she doesn’t mind the opportunity to study him quietly.]

It's a familiar sensation, and so he soon realizes that he's not in his body at all. His spirit is floating above himself, looking down at Korra. But right now, it's the same as the last time he was like this. He can't be seen or heard.]

No way. [She sits up suddenly.] Did he actually get through?
[On one hand, it'd be great news. On the other, well. She'll be pretty disappointed in herself, but she can deal with that.]

Today she's bringing in a load of supplies after a few others made a run into Republic City for them. It's all vegetables for the evenings dinner and she leaves the box setting on a nearby counter as she spots the boy she had met before baking something. There are a few air acolytes around so she figures he's not exactly sneaking around.
She moves up casually, hands tucked behind her back.]
What are you making?
no subject
Hi there! Opal, right? I'm just making one of the most honored air nomad dishes... a fruit pie!

So you're a pretty good kid after all, hm?
[Now she surveys the area.]
Do you mind if I help then?

So upon her first visit since this whole mess began, she wasn't surprised to see Aang hanging around. She slipped into the kitchen with a small smile, taking in the scent of whatever it was he was making.
"Hi, Aang! It's good to see you again." She briefly glanced over his shoulder at his workstation.
no subject
"Asami! I'm really glad to see you too." Then without any further to-do, he extends a spoon towards her that has a piece of the blueberry pie on it. "Here, taste this!"
no subject
"This is pretty good. When did you learn to bake?"
no subject
no subject
"Was he your airbending teacher?" She isn't quite a hundred percent on her Avatar Aang history, or on how Air Nomad culture was structured. All she knows is what she's picked up from Tenzin, and while he is Mr. Traditional, Asami imagines things were much different when there were more of them.

Hey, you! Baldy! Bring the pies over here!
[He doesn't even bother to sit up, which means his long braid is scraping the ground and the third eye tattoo on his forehead is clearly visible. He's not in the mood for stealth right now.]
no subject
Okay! Coming right up. [Aang had disembarked from Appa for the moment and was carrying around a tray of pies. He carries them straight towards Judar, amused by his upside down style. Aang does find himself pausing for a moment when he notices the tattoo. Unpleasant memories of Combustion Man's attacks dwell on his mind.
But it passes quickly, and then he continues walking normally as if nothing had happened, drawing near enough to offer Judar his pick.]
no subject
When Aang approaches, he hops down easily and lands on his feet.]
I could probably eat all of these. I've been living on fruit pies for almost a week now! It's great.
[Not the most nutritious, but his diet rarely is.]
Lucky me that you decided to bring them out this far. A lot of people wouldn't.
no subject
Well I'm an airbender, s-so... I like to bring things a lot further than where everyone else goes! At least it sounds like you like them... go ahead, take your pick.

"Hi, Aang!"

Aang waves to her as she lands. "Good morning, Ruby! How are you today?"
B
She let her nose lead the way, right into the kitchens. She had really just intended to poke her head in, so when she saw it was occupied she quickly apologized. ] Oh, sorry. I didn't realize anyone was in here.
[ Only she pauses when she catches sight of a familiar face. ] Oh. Hey, Aang!
no subject
Hello, Yang! How're you? [He's wearing a small apron over his airbending outfit and there's just a bit of a mess around his chin, the apron and the counter as some pies are in the process of being made.]
no subject
I'm not bad, I just came to see what Ruby was up to until I smelled your pies. [ She peers at the pies. Even the unfinished ones look delicious. ] A master airbender and a chef, they should call you the master chef!
no subject
I was hoping to see you again too. But I wouldn't say I mastered being a chef yet! Maybe it'd be better so call me a... um... piebender?
