4th Wall Event

With all the excitement going on with the penguin races, the spirits came to a conclusion that the citizens and the people they brought to this city just weren't doing their best job to take care of the problem that they were sensing. Maybe they didn't bring the right people, or maybe they just needed more protection. Things seemed far too quiet and it just didn't sit well with them. So, some of the stronger spirits who preferred to watch instead of interact with humans decided to combine their powers together to summon more people from all over the worlds.






Welcome to the Fourth Wall Event of Cyclicality.

The spirits are bringing in all sorts of people for three weeks to try and gain more help and more alliances to help protect Republic City from anything that may wish to harm it. Any characters can come into the game with their powers to try and help out Republic City or just make things even more chaotic for the citizens. Your characters can come in as their original self, or you can AU them into the setting as well.

At the end of the event the new characters that were pulled into Republic City will be sent back to their own homes, unless you wish to app the character you brought in. You will be able to app them and let them keep their memories of the event. That goes for the characters already in the game as well. However, any canon powers will be lost as usual upon apping unless they're a canon bender or apped as AU. An overflow post will be posted around this time next week depending on if there are a lot of people tagging/commenting, so hop to it, everyone!

Some rules to follow:

1. If you’re a player in the game and interested in participating in the event, use the [4th wall] tag. This will let everyone know if you want to participate. You can also tag posts here.

2. If you’re not in the game, you can post a starter post here or tag into someone else’s post who has the [4th wall tag].

3. As always, remember to be friendly! And, if you have any questions, feel free to shoot us a PM.

[ Rapunzel - Tangled ]

[ What... was this place!? There were strange things on wheels rolling around and so many people! It was almost like falling out of the tower landed her in this crazy new world!

Rapunzel was really excited, but even more terrified with everything new around her. After hearing those wheel creations honk at her a few times she's kept herself near buildings instead. At least she hasn't gotten anyone tangled up in her hair yet though. ]

What kind of place is this...

Funny, I was about to ask the same thing.

[He's a giant turtle and he doesn't seem to care who knows it.]

[ Rapunzel jumped when she heard someone's voice and quickly whipped around. When she saw who the voice belonged to it only made her more jumpy. On one hand there was a giant turtle talking to her and she wasn't sure that was suppose to happen. On the other hand there was a giant turtle talking to her and well.. that was really awesome! So she nervously took a step closer to him. ]

um... hi.

[That's about the nicest reaction he ever gets.]

My name's Donatello. I'm not really sure how I got here.

Yeah, me neither...

[ She kept staring at him when she realized she was being a bit rude. ]

Oh! Sorry my name is Rapunzel! It's nice to meet you, Mr. Donatello!

[A sideways smile.] You can call me Don. [And a gesture to the chaotic scene before them.] This is too wild. What do you say we check it out?

H-huh? Oh um... sure!

[ It would be a lot less scary if she explored with someone else after all. ]

[pigeonpuppet]

[He starts strolling along the sidewalk.] Look at these old jalopies. Hey, a takoyaki stand! Do you want some?

[ hopefully he doesn't mind the fact that she keeps staring at him curiously. ]

What's takoyaki?

[He's kind of staring at her too, so he supposes it's fair.]

Fried octopus. [Without discussing the subject any further, he approaches the stand and its proprietor, but as though he doesn't intend to stop.]

Hey mister, your miso pot is boiling over. [While the vendor turns to look, Don casually takes two takoyaki from the counter and keeps walking.]

[Another youth runs up, garbed completely in green, with striking eyebrows and a bowlcut. And this guy currently is from this world. He looks completely amazed with both the environment and the trail of golden hair.]

This is Republic City! Isn't it a wonderful place? Ahhh... Your hair, I've never seen anything like it! Is it a secret bending technique?

[goldensprout]

[ She jumped at Rock Lee's excitable tone and quickly gathered her hair into her arms out of habit before she realized it was a friendly person. ]

N-nope it's just... normal hair?

[niceguypose]

Really? I've never seen any hair like it! [He peers curiously and flashes a thumbs up.] It is very lovely, Miss!

[ She wasn't expecting that kind of reply to be honest. After the odd look that appeared on her face, she slowly dropped her hair to the ground and gave him a silly smile in return. ]

Well thank you. I appreciate your compliment, sir.

[niceguypose]

You are welcome! [He grins brightly.] I assume that you are new to this area? I just arrived here recently as well!

[goldensprout]

[ She laughes sheepishly and sort of plays with her hair a little. ]

Yeah, I'm... pretty new to this place alright.

[ She was pretty new to any place, really. ]

I see! [She's very pleasant! He nods eagerly and pulls out an oversized map.] If you need help... I would be glad to explore this city with you! I am trying to take in all of the sights!

You... You really wouldn't mind? Even though we just met?

[ What do you know, a fellow lady with long blonde hair! Okay, so Yang's might not be nearly as long, but it really does look like this girl might need a little help. She pops up beside the girl as her one-woman welcome team. ]

Welcome to Republic City! You must be new around here, but don't worry about it you're not the first one to show up like this. It kind of keeps happening.

[ She really just shrugs the whole thing off like it's no big deal. ]

I'm Yang! [ She holds out her hand in greeting. ]

[ Rapunzel let out a loud yelp when Yang just appeared beside her. She must look like the jumpiest person in the world right now. She After calming down a little she gives Yang a curious look. Well... she seemed really nice and her mother never did warn her that girls could be bad so... ]

O-oh um... Hi Yang?

[ She reaches out for her hand. ]

I'm Rapunzel.

[yangarang]

[ Whoops, maybe she over did her welcome just a little. ]

It's nice to meet you, Rapunzel! I like your hair-- Do you, uh, need help with it? [ It looked like it weighed a ton. ]

Help with it? No it's okay. I'm kind of used to the weight by now.

[ She paused and couldn't help but smile a little more now. ]

I really like your hair too. It looks like it'd be much easier to braid.

Just how much does it weigh-- Wait, no don't answer that! How long is it? I didn't even know hair could grow that long! I've been growing mine out since I was eight and I've got nothing on you.

Oh-- yeah, I guess it would be, huh? I'm not really a braid kind of gal. My little sister tried to put it in braids once and "terrible" is putting it nicely. [ Though that probably had more to do with her hair stylist than anything. ]

[ She laughs sheepishly and plays with her hair a bit awkwardly. ]

Last time I checked, it was a little longer than 70ft? I've never had a haircut so it just keeps growing.

[ Low whistle. ] Now that's long! I bet if you stood at the pier it would reach all the way to the Air Temple! You must be proud!

[ While it was tempting to try it out, she would not subject this poor newcomer to such antics. ]
