cyclicality | 4th Wall Event

With all the excitement going on with the penguin races, the spirits came to a conclusion that the citizens and the people they brought to this city just weren't doing their best job to take care of the problem that they were sensing. Maybe they didn't bring the right people, or maybe they just needed more protection. Things seemed far too quiet and it just didn't sit well with them. So, some of the stronger spirits who preferred to watch instead of interact with humans decided to combine their powers together to summon more people from all over the worlds.

Welcome to the Fourth Wall Event of Cyclicality.

The spirits are bringing in all sorts of people for three weeks to try and gain more help and more alliances to help protect Republic City from anything that may wish to harm it. Any characters can come into the game with their powers to try and help out Republic City or just make things even more chaotic for the citizens. Your characters can come in as their original self, or you can AU them into the setting as well.

At the end of the event the new characters that were pulled into Republic City will be sent back to their own homes, unless you wish to app the character you brought in. You will be able to app them and let them keep their memories of the event. That goes for the characters already in the game as well. However, any canon powers will be lost as usual upon apping unless they're a canon bender or apped as AU. An overflow post will be posted around this time next week depending on if there are a lot of people tagging/commenting, so hop to it, everyone!

2. If you’re not in the game, you can post a starter post here or tag into someone else’s post who has the [4th wall tag].

[He makes an impressed hum at the spin... and even laughs a little at her failed attempts to poke at the map! Then as she points, he moves the map to check where she landed.]

Ah... You have picked the shopping district! Well done!

Then I suppose we're off!

Yes! Let's go! [He smiles eagerly at her as he breaks off into a brisk jog.]

[ Oh! He was already heading off! Ignoring her hair, she takes off after him, just letting it drag behind her. Hopefully no one ends up tripping over it. ]

We'll be there in no time! [He calls back to her as she moves, slowing his pace a little to help her catch up. There's probably at least a few close calls in terms of people tripping over her hair.]

[ She picks up the pace so she can catch up to him faster. He didn't even look like he was breaking a sweat. ]

Rock Lee you're like the fastest person I know!

[He flashes her a bashful smile.]

Really?! Thank you very much! I've trained very had to move this fast, and I can move even faster! [But he doesn't want to feed her his dust.]

... Can you... can you really?

Yes! Do you believe me?

Of course I believe you. I just want to see it!

Yes, Miss, I will be glad to! [He cheerily complies. And the he breaks into a sprint. He's running, well, probably as fast as someone in this world can manage without airbending.]

Oh my gosh... HE'S SO FAST!

[ She tries speeding up her running but it's nothing compared to Rock Lee's. ]

[She tried...

Eventually, Lee will come to a stop and turn arohnd with a frown, hoping he hadn't lost her. He had run only in a street line. So then he... just turns and starts running back the way he came, weaving around traffic as he runs like a hairy Frogger on speed.]

[ At some point she finally spots him coming back and just like that she slows to a stop and leans over with her hands on her knees. She wasn't used to running so hard. ]

O-Oh man!

[He looks panicked at seeing her so tired out! And he quickly runs to her side.]

M-Miss Rapunzel!! Are you alright?!

I-I'm fine! Honest! J-Just catching my breath!

[ She laughs and looks up at him from her hunched over position ]

That was incredible.

Thank you! I am glad to have impressed you, but sorry to have tired you! Please take as much time as you need to catch your breath!

I've never seen anything move that fast before in my whole life.

Really? You must never have seen an eel-hound, then! I am sure that they are faster!

Still, I had to work hard to become this fast!

I bet you've been training for years and years, huh.

[Eager nods.]

That's right! I've worked hard to be a great fighter without using any bending at all! [He stretches in place as he talks.] I hope it is enough!

Bending? You mean like this?

[ She stands up and bends backward a little bit. ]

[He stares on blankly for a moment, expecting her movement to unleash a torrent of fire, but nothing happens. He blinks.]

Ah... I mean the kind which uses the elements!

... What do you mean?

Ah... Many people are born with bending! It's the ability to control the elements, like fire or water, with your own body's energy!
