Same scenarios as the test drive plus a few!

A. Just got here!

Dove was amazed when she finally arrived in Republic City, her eyes bright and sparkling with excitement as she explored its streets. It held just as much history as her own home, and, for her, ten times the wonder and opportunity. At her side, a large tigerdillo padded along with her, its head low and its own eyes calm as it, too, took in the foreign sights with her owner.

There were so many people, from so many places, and for a moment, she was overwhelmed with the pure joy that came with it. Sure, she very obviously looked like a tourist, but so what? She'd soon call Republic City home... if she could find a decent place to stay.

Until then, she would meet and get to know as many people as she could, just like the extrovert she was.

It might be unfortunate for her to cross the street and NOT see that car coming...
Maybe she's just really, really curious about that statue.

B. Spirit Wilds

Rumor of Spirit habitation in the city immediately caught Dove's attention, and with no hesitation at all, the girl set off to investigate. She would quickly find herself directed toward the spirit wilds, and others would soon find her curiously exploring what she could. Most of the spirits she finds, however, seem wary of her.

Her reaction to one alighting on her arm is sure to be an experience.

C. SHOPPING OMG

...Dove new how to shop, and there was little way for her to escape the pull of Little Ba Sing Sei. One could easily spot her moving slowly from store to store, trying on the latest fashions--she was very used to high end clothing-- and pouring over each piece and new style she could find. At the end of the day, one might find her with a good sized cup of tea, recovering from her adventure at leisure, Maomi curled around her seat as she sits outside a tea shop.

D. Firebending

Dove's fitness routine was very, very important. One might find her out and about just as the sun begins to set, working through her firebending techniques. Unfortunately, as she's new to the city, she has yet to find a very good place to practice... Maybe you could help her out?

She'd also totally be down for a quick sparring session.

Though over the shock that one of the spirits had finally come close enough for inspection-- let alone had landed on her arm-- Dove, startled, turned quickly at the sudden nearby voice, careful to keep the spirit balanced on her forearm. "The ones coming from the barrier?" she asked, intrigued.

"Yeah, the barrier around the city. We thought it was just made up of energy at first, but then spirits started coming out of it a little while ago."

Korra held up her hands as Dove turned toward her. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you or anything. Are you new here?"

She must be, if this was news to her.

She shook her head, a small smile coming to her lips as she looked on at Korra. "It's okay! I just didn't know anyone else was out here," she laughed, turning her attention to the spirit as its wings fluttered suddenly. "And yes. I've never been to republic city until now, I'm afraid."

Still balancing the spirit, she stepped closer, offering her other hand. "I'm Dove, and this is Maomi," she introduced, glancing back at the tigerdillo curled nearby.

"Well...I guess that's the first thing you'll learn about the spirits here. Stay away from the barrier spirits, but the ones living here in the Wilds should be safe."

Korra takes the hand politely. "I'm Korra. Nice to meet you, Dove." She brightens up when she spots the tigerdillo. "Oh, wow. Is that a tigerdillo? I haven't seen one like this before."

A light laugh. "Noted," she smiled, looking down at the spirit again. She assumed this one was alright... it hadn't hurt her yet, and the other woman didn't seem afraid of it.

The Avatar didn't seem afraid of it, she mentally corrected, her eyes growing a little when Korra gave her name. Now that it had been said, the other girl did look familiar.

"Oh wow, you're the avatar!" she beamed, laughing in almost disbelief. "It's an honor to meet you." Even with all of the rumors floating around about the avatar's current low approval rating within the city, it was still an honor. She grinned, then bumped the tigerdillo with her hip and leaned against her a bit as the large cat stretched and came to stop at her side with a curious look at Korra. "And yes, she is. She's trained," she reassured her, though why there was need to reassure the avatar, she couldn't imagine.

Ah, busted. Korra smiled sheepishly as Dove identified her correctly.

"Yeah, that's me. The Avatar. I guess the name was sort of a giveaway, huh?" Korra said, rubbing at the back of her neck. At least Dove seemed actually pleased to meet her. That certainly was better than some of the responses she had come to expect from the people recently.

Korra reached out to the tigerdillo, with another glance at Dove. "What's her name?"

Dove only smiled back reassuringly. "That and I've seen pictures," she confirmed, shrugging a little. "Have you been alright?" Genuine concern showed in her gaze. Even in the fire nation, she had heard rumors. Sure, they had just met, and sure, not many of the rumors she had heard were good, but it was easy to at least ask. After hearing about everything else Korra had done, she couldn't imagine the girl could be that bad.

Moami leaned forward to sniff at Korra's hand, then dipped her head to allow the avatar to pet her. "Her name is Maomi," Dove answered, smiling at the tigerdillo's efforts as it tipped its head to show Korra where to scratch.

Maomi's actions brought a smile to Korra's face, and she quickly obliged, scratching behind the tigerdillo's ears. "She's really friendly," Korra said after a moment. "You two must have been together for a while if she's this comfortable with you."

Korra glanced at Dove, then turned her gaze back to Maomi when she saw the concern on Dove's face. It was...strange, knowing that strangers were concerned over her well-being like this. If it had been up to Korra, she would have liked to keep her injuries quiet, but she supposed the people deserved to know that their Avatar was in a bad way. It just stung, having her weakness broadcasted like that.

"I'm fine. It's a little hard to explain, but whatever you heard about my injuries isn't really a problem anymore. You don't have to worry about me."
