A. Just got here!

Dove was amazed when she finally arrived in Republic City, her eyes bright and sparkling with excitement as she explored its streets. It held just as much history as her own home, and, for her, ten times the wonder and opportunity. At her side, a large tigerdillo padded along with her, its head low and its own eyes calm as it, too, took in the foreign sights with her owner.

There were so many people, from so many places, and for a moment, she was overwhelmed with the pure joy that came with it. Sure, she very obviously looked like a tourist, but so what? She'd soon call Republic City home... if she could find a decent place to stay.

Until then, she would meet and get to know as many people as she could, just like the extrovert she was.

It might be unfortunate for her to cross the street and NOT see that car coming...
Maybe she's just really, really curious about that statue.


B. Spirit Wilds

Rumor of Spirit habitation in the city immediately caught Dove's attention, and with no hesitation at all, the girl set off to investigate. She would quickly find herself directed toward the spirit wilds, and others would soon find her curiously exploring what she could. Most of the spirits she finds, however, seem wary of her.

Her reaction to one alighting on her arm is sure to be an experience.

C. SHOPPING OMG

...Dove new how to shop, and there was little way for her to escape the pull of Little Ba Sing Sei. One could easily spot her moving slowly from store to store, trying on the latest fashions--she was very used to high end clothing-- and pouring over each piece and new style she could find. At the end of the day, one might find her with a good sized cup of tea, recovering from her adventure at leisure, Maomi curled around her seat as she sits outside a tea shop.

D. Firebending

Dove's fitness routine was very, very important. One might find her out and about just as the sun begins to set, working through her firebending techniques. Unfortunately, as she's new to the city, she has yet to find a very good place to practice... Maybe you could help her out?

She'd also totally be down for a quick sparring session.

Yeah, nice try with the dumb act. She knows.

She raises a brow at the nickname, grinning. "Rick? He actually lets you call him that?" she muses, thinking to herself how ill fitting it is for the man she had met. Shifting her weight to her other leg, she lifts a hand, a bright flame springing to life in her palm. "Must not be a very experienced guard if you were going to let a firebender inside without at least getting her name first..."

[wolfstrike]

"Nope. But I do it anyway. It's easier to say."

But then as Dove shows her fire, Yuri doesn't really look all that impressed.

"Yeah well, last I heard the triads didn't hire pretty little rich girls."

Yuri isn't stupid. He can tell this girl is well off, and really she doesn't exactly strike him as much of a threat. Firebender or not.

Darling, I'm a nightmare, dressed like a daydream~

Dove barely looked offended as she put out the small flame in her hand, though it was a sobering comment. "You know, you really shouldn't underestimate 'pretty little rich girls'" she reminded him. "But you're right, I'm not a threat. At least, not to Varrick."

[wolfstrike]

"Yeah yeah," he said while turning and waving a hand dismissively as he started to walk off.

Sorry sweetheart, he doesn't really put much stock in the spoiled upper classes. They're all talk for the most part.

[profiteers]

"Hey Yuri, I need you to come look at this r- oh hello, there!" It's your lucky day, Yuri, hot lady on board the ship trumps Varrick embarrassing you any day. Excuse him sidling on up here.

"Dove, lovely to see you again." Going for the hand kiss of course, he's a suave bitch after all.

She stayed quiet as he turned to walk away, the small fire within her calming. His disapproval and lack of interest gave her thoughtful pause...

...which was efficiently swept to the side for later with Varrick's arrival.

"Varrick," she cooed in return greeting, genuinely pleased to see him again, especially now that it appeared Yuri was going to leave her on her own to find him inside. "It's good to see you! Miami and I were just getting to know Yuri here." She motioned to the long haired man, then to the dog with the hand Varrick hadn't taken. "And Repede of course."

Hey, Yuri is all for distractions to keep Varrick off his back with more of his crazy ideas. This is exactly why he feels no shame in giving his boss that nickname. But his name being called did make him pause, even if Varrick's attention went straight to Dove.

See, this is why he doesn't take rich folk seriously. Just look at this specimen right here. Yuri just stood there with a vaguely amused expression, and a hand on his hip, as Dove mentions that they had been getting acquainted.

[profiteers]

"He's a hell of a guy, Yuri. I hope you've been showing our guest all the best of our hospitality." Because that seems very likely. Varrick's just going to focus all the attention on Dove, offering her an arm. "So this is the yacht. Did you want the grand tour or just the high lights. Are you hungry? Thirsty? I can make Yuri make some tea for us. It's not as good as my last assistant would have done, but she's been missing since this whole spirit barrier shenanigans started."

She snorted softly, risking a peek at Yuri again. "Very welcoming," she said simply, waving a hand. Soooo welcoming.

The options he gave her were extensive, and she hesitated to answer right off. She was here to talk work, or at least, that had partly been her intention. For now, she supposed, it couldn't hurt at all to have him show her around, and she was curious. "Why don't you show me your favorite features? And then we could have tea with Yuri," she suggested in answer, half grinning over at the man.

[profiteers]

"Sounds great! Yuri, get the kettle going. We'll be back in no time." Giving you a grin, bro, don't you just love working for him.

Meanwhile Dove is being offered an arm, may we commence the tour?

[wolfstrike]

Tea? Oh great. Because having tea with two rich people and listening talk about stuffy subjects was exactly how he wanted to spent his day. Why is he working for this man again? Still, Yuri masked his discontent and merely heaved an exaggerated sigh that looked almost comical at Varrick's request.

"Yeah yeah, okay. You guys have fun."

And with that, he turns to and heads towards the boat's kitchen to prepare that tea.

Can time skippers if you want, Unless Yuri wants to pull pranks XD

Well, it wasn't the gentlest of requests, but maybe that's just how things were between the two. She took Varrick's arm with one hand while waving to the long haired man with the other, before she turned her attention to her host. "This is a beautiful yacht..." she began casually, allowing him to lead her into the 'tour'.
