The look on his face made her a little nervous, but she was going to keep smiling for his sake. She didn't want him to feel more conflicted with whatever he had to say, and she wanted him to know she would listen to anything he had on his mind.

She slowly walks on over to the vine and pushes herself onto it, sitting down next to him. Maybe if she made a joke it would calm his nerves a little. She pushed her hair away from her face for a moment and smiled his way.

"If it's that you aren't really a juggler, I think I kind of figured that one out," she laughed softly.

At that, Zuko groaned. He remembered telling her that. Ugh, he was so stupid back then. After a moment he looked around to make sure nobody was listening then continued.

"My real name is Zuko. When we met I was an exiled Fire Nation prince. So I had to hide who I was."

She couldn't help but laugh a little when he started groaning. It was adorable how embarrassed he was about his own words. She settled down when she heard him begin to talk. She thought to herself that he technically didn't lie to her. If he was exiled he was technically a refugee like he said. A comment like that probably isn't what Zuko wanted to hear though.

She nodded along, never taking her eyes off him. He had her full attention and not once did she look upset or frighted by his words. She looked more sad than anything and it wasn't because he hid this from her.

" That must have been... so hard for you. You had to pretend you were someone else because most of the world wouldn't have approved and might have tried hurting you," she sniffled out and reached out to grab his hand.

It wouldn't have bothered him as much as she thought it would have. Those days were behind him, and he was a different person now. But he's again surprised when she takes his hand, allowing it without complaint.

"It was," he admitted.

"But things are different now. For me, that was two years ago."

And a lot has happened in those two years.

She gives his hand a gentle squeeze and wipes her eyes with her free hand. Zuko was really strong and brave too. Hearing this just only made her admire him more.

"You... seem to have a happier feel about you. I hope those two years have brought you some happiness," she said softly with a smile on her face. Zuko deserved it, at least that's how she felt.

Zuko was quiet for a few moments as he considered her words, a sidelong look is then given to her.

"Some," he admitted. "I became the Fire Lord, and it's been pretty tough sometimes."

That was pretty much an understatement, but he didn't really want to burden Jin with his problems. Especially regarding his ex-girlfriend. Despite how much it impacted him.

"But the reason I'm telling people I'm Lee again, is because there's another me. He's me 60 years later."

It's still really weird to talk about.

She nodded her head a little. It must be like what Wan told her. The people here would only become confused and it may ruin things if they were to just shout out who they were. And if they knew an older Zuko, him being out would definitely complicate things. Then a thought popped into her mind.

" That's why you've been wearing that mask around, isn't it! I thought you were embarrassed about something and I've been wanting to tell you how silly it was because you look just fine, but you've just been hiding your face because your older self is roaming about!"

"Yeah, exactly," Zuko said as she started putting 2 and 2 together. He was really glad she was smart enough to figure this stuff out so that he didn't have to explain it. Not that he wouldn't, it just made things easier.

"So you know why you can't tell anyone about me."

"It wouldn't have been my place to do so anyway."

She gave him a warm smile and gave his hand another soft squeeze. It made her feel good that he felt comfortable enough to tell her all of this. She really felt like he trusted her which meant a lot to her.

"So... Zuko huh? It's a nice name."

Feeling the squeeze of her hand, he looked down at it for a moment. Eventually he turned his over so that he could hold hers.

"Thanks," he said quietly with a small smile.

He didn't really get compliments on his name, so it was a little strange. But it was okay. Jin hadn't ever given him any reason to distrust her, so he felt safe with telling her.

Her heart did a little flip when she felt him hold her hand back. She thought maybe she might have made him feel awkward and uncomfortable, but all of those worried quickly melted away.

She pushed her braid back shyly and gave him a smile.

"Yeah...," Way to sound like a good, Jin.

Zuko smiled at her for a few more moments, then let go of her hand and stood up.

"I should go. I was going to go visit a friend for awhile."

He had been going to see Druk occasionally. His older self had told him it was all right, and the dragon actually seemed to like it when he came by. Even if he was confused at having two Zuko's around.

She slowly stood up herself and nodded her head. Despite how nice it felt holding his hand and being close to him, if Zuko was busy, she wasn't going to try and force him to stay.

" I-I don't want to keep you then," she gave him another smile.

Zuko paused, glancing up for a moment in thought, before looking back down at Jin.

"Would you like to come with me?"

Surely Druk wouldn't mind making a new friend?

She was about to turn around and leave when his words stopped her. Wait, did he say she could go with? Please ignore the look of excitement in her eyes.

"Sure! I'd love to," she shouted a little eagerly, only to realize how ridiculous she must have sounded. She cleared her throat and continued on, "I mean if you don't your friend would be bothered with me there?"

Zuko smiled again and held out his hand in invitation for her to come with him.

"I don't think he'll mind. Come on."

And with that, he'll lead the way to where he knows his older counterpart allows the big red dragons to stay.

She happily grabs onto his hand and follows him where ever he leads them to. Maybe this wasn't suppose to be romantic or anything like that, but Jin couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement. Him inviting her like this really proved that he liked her company at least a little, right?
