4th Wall Event

With all the excitement going on with the penguin races, the spirits came to a conclusion that the citizens and the people they brought to this city just weren't doing their best job to take care of the problem that they were sensing. Maybe they didn't bring the right people, or maybe they just needed more protection. Things seemed far too quiet and it just didn't sit well with them. So, some of the stronger spirits who preferred to watch instead of interact with humans decided to combine their powers together to summon more people from all over the worlds.






Welcome to the Fourth Wall Event of Cyclicality.

The spirits are bringing in all sorts of people for three weeks to try and gain more help and more alliances to help protect Republic City from anything that may wish to harm it. Any characters can come into the game with their powers to try and help out Republic City or just make things even more chaotic for the citizens. Your characters can come in as their original self, or you can AU them into the setting as well.

At the end of the event the new characters that were pulled into Republic City will be sent back to their own homes, unless you wish to app the character you brought in. You will be able to app them and let them keep their memories of the event. That goes for the characters already in the game as well. However, any canon powers will be lost as usual upon apping unless they're a canon bender or apped as AU. An overflow post will be posted around this time next week depending on if there are a lot of people tagging/commenting, so hop to it, everyone!

Some rules to follow:

1. If you’re a player in the game and interested in participating in the event, use the [4th wall] tag. This will let everyone know if you want to participate. You can also tag posts here.

2. If you’re not in the game, you can post a starter post here or tag into someone else’s post who has the [4th wall tag].

[Unfortunately for Azula, peace and quiet is the last thing she'll get after shouting and setting things on fire. Especially not when she's got an audience - a young man dressed in red and black who had the bad luck to witness the very end of that close enough to feel the heat from the blast.]

Whoa! Hey! Watch where you're throwing those flames! What'd that tree even do to you?

[Azula bursts into laughter, finding his comment hilarious. Her amusement didn't last long, though and she abruptly stopped. Her features hardened as she turned to look at him.]

It was there. It was in the way. Do I really need a better a reason?

[...you know, considering he's done the same with similar reasoning...

But no, there's no way this can be the same. Lloyd folds his arms, scowling skeptically at her.]

How was it in the way? It's not blocking anything.

It was blocking my view. I was trying to destroy the people who have taken it upon themselves to ruin my life and keep me from my destiny.

[The way she says it makes it sound like she's the most important person in the world. It's so easy to slip into this persona, even if all her insides are all chaotic and don't make sense.]

How does burning a tree down help with that? If people are giving you a hard time, you should work it out with them, not by doing things that could hurt someone. What if you hadn't seen me before you threw that flame?

[Yes, he's... operating under the assumption that Azula did notice him.]

[Being scolded like a small child by some stranger in a new world doesn't rank high on Azula's list of things she enjoys. She's very much bored with the whole thing.]

I suppose you'd be on fire then.

[She pauses, a devilish smirk growing on her face.]

You're right. I shouldn't have burned the tree. I should have aimed for you instead. That would have made this entire situation much more interesting.

[Lloyd stiffens, because that's a threat - but why would she threaten him? Just like that, though, he's suddenly become unsure what kind of situation he's even dealing with.

Either way, he lifts his chin and gives her a steely look, subtly shifting his stance just in case.]

Not if I didn't let it hit me - and I wouldn't. I'm not stuck in one place like that tree.

You're not really serious, though, right?

[Maybe he's misreading her tone and this is just a really bad joke!]

[She watches him. In her eyes, he's squirming now. She's like a cat that enjoys playing with her food. Truthfully, she has no intention to burn him to a crisp at the moment. Acting like she does though, it's priceless]

Depends. If I were bored enough, then yes.

[If Azula was aiming to get a rise out of Lloyd, there's not too many things she could have said that would make him bristle even more!]

You don't burn people just because you're bored! If you're bored, then play a game, or do something fun, or work on arts and crafts!
