Our nation’s leaders have gone missing, according to multiple confirmed reports by our very own Republic City Police Force. President Raiko is not the only one to have mysteriously vanished. His wife, Buttercup Raiko also vanished along with him. Tenzin, son of former Avatar Aang and leader of the new and budding Air Nation has also disappeared. In addition, his wife Pema, daughter Ikki and sons Meelo and Rohan have vanished as well. What does this mean for Republic City? Who will lead us in our time of need?
It seems we have two options at our disposal. Many citizens are crying out for Lord Zuko, former Fire Lord and co-founder of the United Republic of Nations, to take up the difficult role as leader. The other option is Avatar Korra who, as you know, is our current Avatar. However, her public approval rating has been consistently abysmal. The city seems torn on who should lead the city until the president’s safe return.
Who will lead us? Who will you choose as our nation’s leader? The city will hold an official vote on October 31, but will an unlisted person be voted as our leader instead? The decision is up to you, Republic City! There are no leads which may help lead detectives to the location of our missing leaders.

Beginning the 3rd of October, Republic City has been trapped behind a large, spiritual barrier. It was not until recently that it was discovered the barrier was made not of spiritual energy, but of spirits themselves! Attempts have been made to bring the barrier down, but none have been successful. The Avatar’s approval rating is suffering accordingly for it. Recently, the spirits from the barrier have begun separating from the barrier and attaching themselves to any nearby object, humans included! Contact with these spirits can cause physical changes such as flesh becoming tree bark, so look out! The Barrier is believed to be the cause of a plethora of people popping out of nowhere, claiming to be from a different time or worse, from a completely different planet! Investigations are underway to figure out why it is these newcomers believe such things.
