“You got it, Captain,” Korra said as she followed him through the gap she’d created. She added the light from her flame to his a second later, hand raised high. Mako had been right—it was a mess in there. Between the vines and the spirits no doubt poking around, just about everything had been scattered around the space.
“Looking for anything in partiular?” Korra wasn’t sure if they’d find it even with the two of them searching, but it would narrow their search down a little if there were specific things he’d wanted to rescue from the wreck. She ducked through a doorway, gaze skimming the surface.
Something caught her eye just then, and she bent down to take a closer look. What she saw made her pause. The Appa plush she’d won at the festival was a little dusty when she picked it up, but otherwise fine. She began to dust it off.
