Mako wriggled his way back out of the makeshift opening, clearing his throat. Mostly to cover the fact that he didn't even think about that.

"D'- sure. Yeah. Go right ahead. That would make things easier." When he looked down to check on his box it was already three feet away and moving, with about eight different legs underneath it. He let out a grunt of frustration and went to pick up the box, but a vine cleanly broke though the pavement where he had it before and Mako mentally cursed his luck.

First spirits are trying to take his things, vines are still spreading, and he completely had a brain fart that Korra was, in fact, an earthbender.
