Mia hasn't managed to find another hotel willing to house her ever since the one she had been staying at refused to let her stay any longer, and so that means she's out onto the streets in search of a new place to stay. She can't ever say she's ever been homeless before, so this is quite the new experience for her, and she doesn't really like it all that much.
As she's wandering through the crisp night-time air, she sees one of the girls of Nabooru's crew waving at her with a beckoning gesture. Mia will come close but she'll still keep her distance; after all, the new circumstances in the city definitely makes her a little wary of strangers. "Thanks, but it's actually not too bad tonight. I've survived through much worse winters." And it's true, at least mostly; she's usually been inside to weather the storm however. And perhaps the slightly reddened cheeks will give away the fact that she is marginally cold a little bit.
